PowerDVD 7.3 Ultra patch problem

Has anybody been able to download the 80.3mb patch for PowerDVD Ultra found here

http://download.cyberlink.com/ftpdlo...rDVD_Ultra.exe

It says there is a patch for me to install, I have downloaded it 3 times and get so far into the installation before it decides to just stop and return me to the desktop. (I cant even see it running in the task manager)

tia... :)

Works fine here, try saving it to a different location.

How odd...

I tried different locations, plus saving it to a different harddrive and even downloaded Opera to try gettingt the patch with, same story with that browser to.

It Extracts the files, that dialouge box disapears and the InstallSheild pops up saying "Prepairing to Install". The bar gets all the way to the end and then I can see the following box on the taskbar appear.

The CyberLink box then disapears and returns me to the desktop.

I'm running PowerDVD 7 and if i choose the About option in it and click upgrade it takes me to this page and the file size for the upgrade is 40meg and that's different from the one you have.

Yeah I seen that patch listed. My build number was already 2605, so I didnt bother.

Ive now installed that patch wonderin if the "n" on the build number makes any difference, but it looks the same and dosnt appear to have anything different added in "Upgrade Infomation"

Ahh well, at least I can Aliens now :D

I had trouble upgrading to Power DVD 7 & gave up on it, in the end. I still have version 6, but tend to watch my media using 'Alshow' or 'Gom', neither of which seem to have any trouble with codecs - and are free ;)
