help me and my psp
 

I recently bought a dynamode wireless g router (im not to savvy on networking)so i could do some online gaming from my psp through my broadband service (virgin)but i have tried to get the bugger to connect to the socom fireteam bravo gaming site but when i get to the lobby i get network error message all the time ,so i called up virgin (waste of time )then i spoke to the everso helpfull people at dynamode support(helpfull until i tried to go online line with their settings(no internet connection on pc or psp)went back to default connection via psp and wireless set up an i can browse but not play online im now getting verry frustrated with it ,i go to my motherinlaws (not motherinlaw jokes please)and she has the bt home hub and i can get online and play staight away if anyone can help me asap or at leats recommend the best router and set up Im running xp home bb10 mgon a ntl cable modem(ntl250):)

Hi i use a Belkin N1 F5D8231uk4 Broadband Wireless-N Router i have 2 laptops desktop pc xbox 360 and a psp connected to it ok .Havent used it to play online with the psp but i have used the psp to access the internet and down load game demos ok .:)

I have 2 laptops, 2 desktops, XBox360 and PSP all internet ready via a Linksys WRT54Gv5 running DD-WRT firmware. Like Ned, I haven't gamed online with the PSP but it does browse the web ok.

Are you able to connect to other sites on the PSP?

My friend had a Dnamode router, but his was for ADSL. What model is yours ?

He hasnt managed to get his psp to connect either with the Dynamode router either. :(

NedKelly, EssDee,zinglebarb and Slyder ta for the info my psp can browse the internt and ive been able to download from the psp site ie demos and vids im able to view various site but for gaming i can connect via bt home hub at motherinlaws also (sorry its a dynamode BR-6004 W-G1)

I recently got through to the teck support and went throug problem with them I was told to do port forwarding with the games(looked up through google )found the codes and went through with instructons and could still not get online gaming so called them back to be told that i needed to put in the codes for the game in tcp/udp ok i though till i told him i had numbers from 10070-10080 (tcp)6000-6999(udp) and was told it was a port range and my router dosnt have capabillity for port range(ie waste of money)and would have to wait till they get an update from software dev ,how long i dont know but i may be getting a friends netgear so if i get probs will try here again
