Is it normal to get 60kb on 10mb service?

Hi, on 10mb service, can almost get that speed on speedtest.net.

Tried downloading new version of Google Earth last night around 8 p.m. - got only 60kB/sec download speed - is this normal??

Thanks

I would expect higher than that... But the server could be busy, meaning lower speeds.

The important thing is that the indpendent speed test shows your connection is working fine.

Thanks

Just tried downloading same item whilst here at work (think we are on 3/4mb service - don't know what provider) Getting about 250kB/sec (time around 9.30 a.m.). Shame I can't just run home and see if I get same speed through home connection now!!
