Sweex Router Problem

I have a SweexLW140UK router. It works fine apart from the fact I can't get access to its settings. It's IP Address is 192.168.0.2, when I try to access it through a browser the connection just times out =\

Re: Sweex Router Problem

Do you have a proxy specified in your browser setings? This could interfere.
If not, try rebooting the router and connecting before you've done much else. Might make a difference if it's being overwhelmed.

I'd be very surprised if its address was 0.2 and not 0.1 have you tried that?

It's actually 198.168.0.200 according to the manual here...

Ah OK so youve got it sorted at least. I've seen routers before @ .254 which I can understand as it's the last serviceable address in a Class C range

Re: Sweex Router Problem

Unrelated, but I was using wireshark to look at the network traffic and I noticed that every 2 seconds I receive a UDP request from a different IP. I installed ZA and its listing it as 'internet background noise'. Now I've not had a firewall installed in quite a while but I don't remember the attempts being so frequent :erm:
