Belkin Wireless Router set up problem

I have a Belkin FSD7230V4 wireless router connected to a Terayon NTL Modem.
I have had trouble over the last few weeks with thwe router needing a reboot after failure. I upgraded to the latest UK f/w.

Now the router wont work at all (the NTL modem link is fine.
The network is set up for dynamic connection with server defined ip addresses.

When i run the router set up program i select dynamic connection type but when I get to the router config page it is asking for ip addresses etc.

I have got the server and alternate server ip adresses from NTL support but cannot use this to complete set up page

Can anyone help

Moved your thread from the articles section (which is reserved for reference articles), into the main forum which is for questions.

Have you tried a hard reset? Normally there is a little button hidden somewhere you need to press with a pen or needle.

Yes I have tried that, when I eventually found the hole

Re: Belkin Wireless Router set up problem

I have with the expert assistance of Belkin Support fixed the problem which involved the following steps ( not necessarily in this order)
Did a router reset via the hole at the back of the router.
Got the belkin set up screen using the browser 192.168.2.1
I did have to set the home page to blank to stop google for interfering.
Using WAN Mac Address - Clone

Then to check START cmd
then IPCONFIG
then PING 192.168.2.1
The last two show whether you have succeeded in the previous steps.

My neighbour had a similar problem, and resolved by the above steps. Seemed a bit odd to me, that it worked fine for ages, then stopped. By cloning the mac address all was fine afterwards.
