none atm, but maybe, hopfully (if we keep our fingers crossed!) we may be gettint Discovery HD and History Channel HD 'sometime in 2007'! - i do hope its soon.

oh also, BBC HD may become a full HD channel soon instead of be just a crappy 'preview channel', is pretty though! lol

Until we get some HD channels and some killer content, HD on V+ is just going to be looked at as a gimmick. People are starting to buy HD TVs so give us something to watch on them.

They have to sort out the current fall out with sky, but even before that there were doubts that sky would share the HD content.
Dont hold your breath ;)

According to a Sky representative, it said they were willing to offer HD channels as well (although no specificaiton as to which) if Virgin were willing to allow Sky back onto the VM platform, but VM turned this down. I wonder what HD channels they were offering? Sky One HD and Sky Arts HD, or things like Sky Movies HD and Sky Sports HD as well?

Whatever they were does not matter now.

Well, it does show willingness on Sky's part for at least some HD material, which means that in the future, perhaps when relations between Virgin and Sky improve, access to such material may be possible, which would be a positive thing for those that want HD

Only the people involved in the negotiations can know if this was a serious offer or just Sky propaganda. Nobody else knows what price Sky was putting on these channels.

I'd love to see the Sky basic channels back on VM, including the HD stuff and I'd pay an extra couple of quid each month. Some kind of deal where the Sky basics were an opt-in package would be ideal.
