Sky bb router Netgear DG834GT and channels

Is there a firmware upgrade giving the router the full range of channels?
Default is 1-13, but my laptops can handle more (work's dell goes up to 140)

Or is there a firmware upgrade to force it to use 802.11a?

The Netgear DG834GT isnt a 802.11a Router.

It only supports B & G

The sky firmware only has 13 channels, I'd like to know if there's any compatible firmware which gives access to the remaining channels.

My laptops have access to more (ok the dell only had 11 but that was before I installed non-US drivers)

Hmm, will have to check out my dlink and see what that can do as it has non-UK firmware.

You can flash the firmware of the sky router with the netgear firmware for that router.

I think my problems with mine are settling down. I think Sky's dhcp was not assigning address's right. The Sky bloke tried to tell me that my pc would have a bearing on the router picking up an IP address from sky which is complete baloney.
