what's going on? has anyone got a link to the sonic selector site - through virgin media? when I go from the main vm page it goes to here http://sib1.od2.com/common/home/home...?shid=0170008A but the page is blank, and nothing happens... :( the first time in ages I'm like 'I need to hear this song, noooooooooow', and it's not working!? *sigh*

The link from here doesn't work:

Virgin withdrew broadband extras, including sonic selector, on 23/3/09. They did send an email saying this was going to happen and advising me to use any funds in my account before that date. Have contacted them to see what will replace but no information yet. Methinks we just lost three free downloads and are getting nothing in return!..... except for a £2 a month increase on broadband subscription. Unhappy bunny.

Actually, I've just remembered.... they didn't advise anyone that they were withdrawing broadband extras, I just happened to sign in to Sonic Selector the week before it was withdrawn and the information was on the site, so I used all my credit. I've just seen another posting on a different site from a woman who had £50 credit and now can't access it.

You either got an e-mail or you didn't? which is it?

Oh and Broadband Extras was not part of BB M so the £2 broadband increase can't be affecting you.

Well I received an email, it was also mentioned in the new "My Space" email.

BenMcr..... chill...... yes I got an email, so sorry to have ruined your day by being a bit vague! However, I am on BBM and I did get BB extras until the 23 March. Chill!

I couldn't get my free tracks for months so emailed VM to complain - received a standard reply but the service still wouldn't work. What annoyed me was that they were still advertising 'three free tracks a month' on the Extras page, even though this wasn't the case. I wasn't informed that they were withdrawing the service but I now notice on the Extras page that you had to claim your free credit by 16 March.

I pointed out to them that it was illegal to advertise a service they were not providing.
