2 questions for v+ owners - rename recordings? 3rd channel on to HD PVR?

2 questions for v+ owners - rename recordings? 3rd channel on to HD PVR?

I am considering getting V+, having had the standard NTL cable STB for years, but have 2 question which I would appreciate answering:

1 Can you rename recordings? I have a "system" at home where I prefix recordings on my DVD recorder with my initial or my wife's initial so that we can sort programmes by viewer!! Is this possible with the V+ box? Can recorded programmes be sorted by name on V+?

2 Sometimes we have a triple clash all of which we need to record - will the V+ allow us to: record 2 channels (on V+) and view a third on V+ and record that third channel on an external DVD recorder?

(Well 3 questions but who's counting?)

Thanks

R

Hi the anser to your first question is no you can not rename recordings as for the second one you can record 2 then tape one as long as you are not using the with the hd lead to you tv as when you use this it disables the scarts and rf on the back of the .It is ok when you are using the box on scart hope this helps:)

Our install engineer pointed out that if you are recording 2 progs, and you want to record a 3rd as well, just tune to that prog, and pause it.
