No Tv
Hi,
I switched on the TV to watch the rugby and the digibox displayed Tune with the TV service update dont switch off your NTL box etc. After half an hour I pulled the plug for a minute and nothing. I then phoned CS and spoke to someone from another country who said there were no problems in my area then did some tests. Then he booked an Engineer for Monday. My phone has been sticking on ring for weeks after calls so I have to disconnect it so I dont think its the box but the cable. The box up the road has been open since last year so I assume they know about it but Broadband is working but some sites are extremely slow. Is there anthing I can do apart from waiting for Monday to come. John S. |

Hi Ricky,
Yes I reset it several times hoping to get the rugby but to no avail. The screen still displays the NTL interrupt update page. I think its the cable signal as the phone problem has been going on for weeks whenever I put the phone down it starts ringing. TV and Phone are I think seperate from Broadband which is working but lag and pings are awful. Im in Swansea and I think its a cable fault but I dont know how to check that. John S. |

Should have reported it when your phone began having problems, often these faults are linked. If an engineer is booked then there obviously is a problem that needs physical intervention so nothing we tell you will actually resolve this :(
