At least this guy has posted a lot of other stuff to the forum, unlike those whose first post is either a "Isn't sky great and VM crap" or I was paying £200 for my services phoned up and now I have 50MB broad band, all the channels VM have and free phone calls for life and I'm only paying £2.50 a month.

Another 'look at my deal' thread. Great. Can we get over it now please? I'm fairly new to the forum and I'm fed up with 'em...

14 actually. He's nine years younger than me :erm:

Even so... why is a 14 year old making the decisions, or is his dad ringing up or something?

That's funny. So have they given their permission for a kid to operate their account?

i operate my mum's account! I am 19.. guess that is old enough!

she sed that as long as we arent paying a lot, its ok... basically less than £40 a month!

was actually paying £39.45 till today, when i called CS and downgraded to the FREE TV package, saving another £11.50! [from L to M]

So now paying £27.95 a month!!!

I dont think she will complain;)

I'm surprised that Virgin Media would change account details for someone who isn't the account holder and also not of legal age (for contract purposes).

Me too.

Methinks Nick looks around for the best deal and tells parents to ring up for it.

Either that or he just pretends to be his dad. Not sure how a 14 year old could do that, though, so possibly he could pretend to be his mum or something :D

Providing you can answer all the questions you get asked when calling Virgin, who is going to know how old you are? More to the point who cares.

A contract is unenforcable against a minor - that's why.
