Guys,

Was speaking to my ex mother inlaw, and it sounds like she is being overpriced?

She has TV xl, with V+ and an extra box. No telephone, BB etc.

She is paying over £55 a month for this? Also she is being charge when one of her grand daughters watches episodes of Doctor Who - isn't this free if on XL??

I think she is being over priced but I'm not sure because I don't know how much XL TV is supposed to cost without phone...?

Yes. Sadly (or not, as the case may be) everything seems to be in bundles.

BUT for comparrison TV XL (when taken with phone) is £20.50. The phone is £11, V+ £10 and additional box £5

My maths makes that £45.50 WITH a phone.

Who does she get her phone service from? There seem to be two options.

Ditch her existing phone service (making a saving) and getting the above package cheaper than she was. (a double saving)

Or staying as she is and qurying the amount and potentially getting a saving as Virgin are doing deals at the moment
