HDMI problem, can't view picture, can anyone help?
 

Only had a V+ box put in yesterday, and like a child I immediately started to expore the settings. Despite not having a HD TV I changed the display settings to HDMI, expecting it to say "not available" and revert back to normal.

This was not the results, as I now have no picture and can not see anything to navigate through the menu to change the seettings back.

I called Virgin Media, who where unable to help me and said someone from a different dept. would contact me within the next 24hrs.

Can anyone suggest anything I can do to restore the settings and get my picture back.

I hope someone can help.

Try this....

Turn the box off and wait a few minuites
Turn it on
wait a few minuites
Press Home
wait and press 8
wait and press 4
wait and press down
wait and press left
wait and press down
wait and press left
press ok
make sure your TV is on the correct channel
Press ok

that might bring it back for you.

My V+ box has a reset button on the front which when I tested it reverted all such settings to the default.
