cant cancel virgin account
 

i have been trying to cancel my virgin account for 3 days now for 2 days i was told we are unable eto process any account cancellations at this time i will get one of my coleagues to call u tomorrow 2 days gone and still no call.

i keep tryin to call virgin media and all i get is a recorded message that they are busy and goodbye,then line hangs up.

something stinks here ,i dont want to end up payin for another month.

Then write a recorded letter, pay your last bill and cancel your dd afterwards.

Arthurthe spur here, hi Papz, l am no legal brains in this matter, but as far as l am aware, all you need to do is give them 30 days notice, (in writing, and reasons why) to cancel as they have breached the contract, by failing to give you a service for what you are paying for, if you have paid up front ie, for the month, VM have already stated in the media that they won't refund payments that have been made.

I believe the '30 day' limit is also in your contract, from what l have read in the news Sir Richard is already accepting that he will have customers leaving VM, this is not the man l have heard about in the news, what would happen for example, if his airline was at threat from another airline regarding a price war, he would sit down and thrash out a deal to solve the problem for customers, that is the man l know. come on Sir Richard, sit down and talk with Sky, and help thousands of customers get there channels back.

I got my TV and phone switched off, or will be in the next 24hrs with no problems and without 30 days notice and even a better deal on my BB.

Did you use 150 number?
