Anyone ever tried to talk you into doing something you know you shouldnt?

I was talking to a concssions van sales person today.

He told me that I could get 2mb for £10, with £25 prepayment for install.
There is no credit check and I wouldnt need proof of ID.

He also said that cable are launching 100mb broadband next year, and that 50mb is already avilable (in their office in notts).

Personally I think it was an exaggeration. although they have announced that 20mb is coming 'shortly'

I thought ALL sales personnel had to take ID? and £35 if its cash

Concessions dont take ID but your right about the £35 for cash.. No credit check?

Credit checks are defo done on all new customers and the credit check is quite intense now!
