splitter boxes

I have a 2 way splitter (one from ntl )and changed it to a 3 way splitter box which is causing the tv sound to hum in the back ground. Who out there can tell me the correct htz I should be using on the 3 way, or advise in any way.

Re: splitter boxes

You shouldn't be changing any of the connections on the street side of the modem / STB. Doing so, as you have found, can interfere with your own services, and can create problems for others too.

If you need additional connections installed so you can receive services from extra STBs or whatever, then when you subscribe to those services, Virgin Media will carry out the necessary instalation and adapatations.
