VM unlikely to bid for FA Cup Rights

Quote:

Virgin bid unlikely
Virgin Media is unlikely to bid for the rights to show live FA Cup and England football matches, because it does not believe there is room for a third pay-sports broadcaster in the UK. The cable broadcaster’s line will be a blow to the Football Association, which will want a competitive auction to help to lift the price over £100 million a year. (Dan Sabbagh)

If you can't go over a mountain, go around it.

I wonder what VM are up to, if not head to head competition??

Oh and who's the second pay sports broadcaster?

No, Eurosport isn't a premium channel.

I hope and pray the BBC keep the FA Cup!
