Well it looks alot better then what they had as NTL, wonder if they will go down the sky route and have V+ Showen in the trailer.

Pity they never spent it on equipment and staff with half a clue.

I noticed in one of the adverts in the papers yesterday for the ViP package that they refer to V+ as 'Like Sky+ but better' :)

They have ads plastered all over the Metro this morning. In your face advertising. It is like a new company, rather than just a make over. It will be amazing if they actually pull it off and overtake Sky as the number one.

That reminds me of an advert I saw whilst in Florida in 1993:
"The Pilsbury Toaster Strudel it's like a Pop-Tart but much better!"

I remember saying that we will never have adverts like that in the UK! ;)

im only joining in with all the fun one pic was taken ages ago and posed before and the trailer was mainly to show the improvement that they have made with the public image

When I was in Vegas, I was staggered at the amount of ads that basically just said "Buy our product because our competitors are awful". One Chrysler ad even went as far as to name other manufacturers.

Now, Virgin and Sky appear to be doing the same, but in a more subtle way.

Probably a good idea if you get this worked up over a few photos
People take photos of alot of things, i'm sure you'd find photos of cars, on a car forum (shocking, I know) and perhaps photos of insects/animals on a forum for wildlife/nature.
I haven't seen any ad's for virgin media around here, so it's cool to see an example of them.
