Re: Would this work?
What HDD is it? If it has an ethernet port, and stuff, I don't see why not. Even in derby.

Re: Would this work?
I like your diagram:D
Id say that should work ok - Ive got a similar setup as that, but using a different router. I use mine just to ftp stuff to it - like photos etc. I find it really useful to have! |
Re: Would this work?
Lol ok, Thanks. Even in derby, im privileged :). It's a "3.5" IDE USB 2.0 & Network Attached Caddy (NAT)"

Re: Would this work?
Yes, that should work. I have that setup as of last night :D
Oh, don't forget to add your NAS drive to the 'trusted zone' or whatever in your firewall when setting it up. It took me a while to figure out why I wasn't seeing it on the network. |
Re: Would this work?

Re: Would this work?
Only one of your antennae is working on your router... you should get that seen to.
Also, is the diagram to scale? If so, it's the biggest router I've ever seen. It's as big as your laptop, and almost as big as your PC :D |
Re: Would this work?
LOL @ Gareth
Let us know how it goes. It should work fine. |
Re: Would this work?
I'm interested in getting a hard disk that I can plug into my router. At the minute I just have an external 300Gb hard disk but I think it would be more useful for me to get one that I can share across my network. Keep us posted...
