Can't Access Router Menu On IE

I'm trying to access my Belkin 4-port router's settings menu to set up port forwarding. For some reason I can't get into it using IE, but I can using Mozilla Firefox... only problem with this is, with firefox there is no side menu meaning I can't enter the Port Forwarding section. Does anyone have any ideas why this may be happening? Have been able to access the router's menu on IE in the past... but suddenly no more.

Thanks.

not being able to see a side menu sounds like a frames problem. No idea why you can't access it in ie though. What does ie display when you try it? And what model is the belkin?

Have you got a proxy specified in IE?

Try resetting the router, the built in webserver may be playing up.

As above, remove any proxy you might have set and flush your temp internet files too.

I'm having big problems getting my router settings through Internet Explorer AND Firefox! Need to access it to allow my Wii online access but no matter what IP address I use I can't even get it to alter anything. Somehow my NTL Broadband and Netgear software are having a laugh with my IP addresses and have produced 2 that are ENTIRELY different!

The Netgear is a WG111T if that helps...

Make sure you aren't blocking the page in your firewall, what IP address are you using to access it and what are the results. Also do as above and check your proxy and stop using it while you are trying to resolve the issue.
