Re: More HD content on its way on virgin central

While I'm glad that were getting more HD content - what exactly is Virgin Central?

Is is actually going to show CSI, Alias etc. at scheduled times like a traditional TV channel?

Is it just going to show highlights of those shows, with a red button prompt to purchase that content at the (IMO) ridiculously high price of 99p per episode? Will we have to pay even more to watch the HD episodes? (like Filmflex charge more to watch the HD versions of films)

Is it going to do both????

Anyone???

To be honest, I'm not really sure, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see! ;)

If its just a showcase/preview for overpriced VOD content, then I will be disappointed.

The press release describes it as a "revolutionary new kind of television channel." - but the Filmflex preview channel (in the NTL days) had red button functionality for eons. Hardly "revolutionary".

I guess we'll find out on the 20th. :)

I'm guessing it's just a souped up version of VOD, surely ?
