looks like the customer service has not been improved
hi all:)
just rung up ntl (virgin media) as ive only been with these for about 2 and a half weeks all the servive is good etc but since ive had it installed at hgome i got no information on when my billing date will be due out every month ? :( so i phoned up virgin media and asked them if they can tell me what date i will have to pay my broadband bill every month so i asked customer services and they said no information on my billing has been entered into my account yet :rolleyes: wtf is all this about how am i supposed to know when to pay my bill? plus i signed up b4 31st of january and got the offer of 10 per month 2 meg broadband so if they even try to mess around increasing this amount im going to go ape **** at them;) they better not :) |

you actually expect it all to have miraculously changed because they have changed the branding?

You could just pay the bill when the bill is delivered or setup a direct debit.

the system does not tell us what date the bill will be on until the first bill is produced so the agent was correct ....not delivering bad customer service

i had to ring faults today just after lunch i am still waiting for a ringback call
so its the same people same crap nothin changes just the cracks being wallpapered over :Yikes: |

omg..u cant expect all the years of poor people managment etc tobe solved juts by changing the name!! yes ppl will have very high espectation as we are now a Virgin company...but plz give it time! I've worked in CMC for just over a year and i have seen how much it has got better overall in that time.
There are more ppl willing to go that extra mile and resolve cust problems etc etc etc...i mean one saturday on the day i was going on holiday a call came through at 16:58 ( 2mins before close) and i was still there are 17:30...didnt rush the cust cos i was going on holiday (even though i wanted to lol) i stayed there until the problem with his bill was sorted out. And yes it was noticed by not just my TL etc but by the customer himself. There are more ppl being recruted into the centres who are all showing the same dedication to the job..and now we are Virgin Media it can only get better :D |

i hear what you are saying and i also worked in customer care for three years and when we were taken over or merged if you like the company that took over had a crap customer service and we had to sit on our hands for fear of upseting the new owners and to this day five years down the line that company service is crap its to large now too many chiefs and not enough indians but i will give the new system a chance but i dont think its gonna improve its allready tellin lies saying download what you want we wont stop you no they wont they just restrict your bandwidth ho ho ho
