Film 4 +1 not part of your subscription?!

Ive just noticed on my channel listing that Film 4 +1 is now blocked, saying the usual, you are not subscribed to this channel etc.

I thought it was now completly free? Ive had it since i signed up with NTL's 2 for £20 deal back in september, has anyone else had it blocked?

The normal Film 4 channel is still viewable but i prefer watching a movie at around 10pm rather than 9pm.

that is strange, as far as I can tell you either get both or neither, depending on which 'size' you are on

i.e. Size L or XL, but not size M ???

I wish they would make their mind up. I was holding off getting the Free NTL box as i wasn't 100% sure whether it had Sky One or not. But now Sky One is listed and both Film 4 channels aren't which is another reason to keep with Freeview. I guess i can always use both though, but it's a bit of a hassle.

The 2 for 20 in September included the Select Pack which is now the Starter Pack (but no longer available to buy).

Film4+1 is in the Size L & XL Packs but not the Size M or Starter Packs.

Anyone taking a 2 for 20 bundle today gets the Size L pack, but those already with the bundle will keep their existing pack unless they phone to upgrade.

It is weird that all 'free' view channels aren't included in all NTL packs - I think it's a mistake - although when i have Select pack it included UKTVGold but not UKTVGold+1 - weird city i think

Will we be charged extra if we upgrade to l or xl & keep the 2 for £20?

I would have thought that "denying access" to freeview channels would be illegal or just a no-no?

Or just a nasty plot to get more money out of people for something they should get for free?

well now Sky News as gone too, this is becoming a concern now :td:

Can they even do this? I had both these channels since i signed up in october and only this past week have they been blocked, i dont care if Virgin have just bought them out, i want what i was offered and these are bloody free channels for gods sake!

Have you tried re-booting. Often I get the odd page that claims it's unsubscribed, but it's just a channel glitch. A quick re-boot usually gets the channels back correctly. It hasn't happened often, though this past 2 weeks I've had it about 2 or 3 times, so suspect it's information overload on the poor boxes!

I have just found that Film4+1 has been "unsubscribed" from my package; I was on the 3 for £30 deal! Strangely I have some stuff that is on the L package, but not all of it (e.g. I have living TV and +1, but not Film 4+1 and I have Film4!!)
