tvdrive PROBLEMS
 

Having had my TVD for around 3 weeks now, im starting to get some frustrating problems. I have began to experience failed recordings, corrupt recordings and more frequent hard disk freezes. I am now considering reformatting the hard disk to see if this will cure some of the problems. I note on here that there has been some comments about a replacement PVR when the Virgin name takes over. Has anyone any further information about this?

Hi, the failed and corrupt recordings tend to happen from time to time.

The so called 'replacement PVR' is just the same box but with the Virgin media name on the from and it is black instead of silver. Spec wise it is the same box.

Maybe the new EPG will help some of the problems when it rolls out starting in Feb.
