Especially when a 3rd party firmware, e.g. DD-WRT, is loaded onto it.

I just changed my belkin router to a WRT54GS and updated the firmware to DD-WRT and working well, alot easier than my belkin and I can now get full speed on my network!! Blekin was struggling with 10Mb, was a few years old.

Plus it only cost £40 from Amazon with free delivery.

WRT54G if use standard wireless cards.
WRT54GS if your wireless card is by Linksys and has SpeedBosster on board. :)
