Sky broadband ... does Sky TV need to be installed first?

I am getting Sky TV and Sky broadband.

Sky TV was going to be installed last weekend but engineer was ill so couldnt come!! :(

Now coming next Saturday. Broadband modem etc should be delivered this week. Will the broadband work before the TV is installed or is it linked to the Sky STB some how???

(Broadband properly wont be activated this week anyway but just wondered etc)

Of course it will work. The broadband uses your BT line. Has nothing to do with your set top box
