Called to query a charge and got an £8.50 discount is this usual

I've just gotten off of the phone to CS querying an additional charge on this months bill and one of the first things that the nice scottish chap on the phone said to me was "your paying for all 3 services so that's a discount of £8.50".

Apparently the charge was a debit adjustment to do with changing on to one bill and now that I've looked back over my accounts I can see that I did only pay for my digital TV back in September.

I have 4mb broadband, family pack TV and phone which I used to pay £30.50 + £24.99 for and I'm now apparently going to be paying £46.99 for, is this normal?

So nice to have a happy outcome from a telephone call to NTL :D

YES IT IS :) if your on the 'harmony' billing system then ntl are merging ppls accounts into 1..making it easier all around fornow and then also easier to migrate to one billing system for virgin media....

and for an extra £3 you could free evening and weekend calls anywhere in britain up to an hour ;)
