Virgin Media

Have just got the famous correspondence from Richard Branson. Tells me what they are intending to do but it says nothing about HOW MUCH the new packages will be. I think this is going to be a take over that we the users fund. Also want to know if phoning support due to a cable malfunction will we be charged with the call as we are at present!!!??? I have a feeling all the very smart and expensive mail drop will result in us paying more !!:td: :td:

If you're on NTL: then you should already have received the new price lists. They're on the internet at http://www.whycable.co.uk/pricechanges/ntl/

There's a link to the Telewest changes too.
Apart from rounding up .99 to the £1 - the only other changes, that additional set top boxes are going DOWN in price.

If you have an ntl/Telewest phone line, you can call Customer Services free on 150, or Faults free on 151. This will continue after the rebranding.

Why not go for Sky HD then - £299 per box, plus £10 per month:

http://sky.com/hd/what-does-it-cost-existing.htm

I personally prefer the £10 per month and zero cost installation per box.
but then - I guess it's up to you........
