Shall I change my package?
With all the changes to NTL in the past few months regarding the packages I'm thinking about changing. I didn't know which forum to place this under and so I'm sorry if I've posted in the wrong place.
At present I have TV - Family Pack, Broadband - 4mb - and telephone line. Essentially I think I'm paying the following: TV = £31, Broadband = £24.99 and the line rental has been free as part of the TV Package since I started with NTL about 4 years ago. Now I'm seeing these bundles floating about. Like the £49.99, Talk Unlimited, Family and 4mb internet bundle. So would I techncially be saving money just by calling up CS and changing to that? My Internet is also through the set top box and I'm happy with the 4mb for now but may miss out when the speeds go over the 5mb mark. I'm also interested in the TV Drive (with the virgin media branding it's going to be called the V+ box?). Live in Stockport and am on the Bromely platform and currently have a samsung box. Do you think a call to CS and see what I can do as far as getting my package a little cheaper and looking towards the V+ (is it even available in the SK8 area yet?). Thanks for listening!! |

I have the value pack you mentioned, it is definitely worth it. Just call CS and tell them you want to move onto that vaule pack. Also just ask them if you can get the V+HD box in your area.
It would be better if you get your internet through a cable modem, so ask if you can get one too. ;) Hope you get someone that knows what they're doing when you call. :) Good luck :tu: |
