Backing up AOL Favourites, E-Mail, etc

Hi there,

As some of you know, I am re-formatting a friends PC and need to re-install AOL. (I know it's a terrible ISP but that's what I've got to deal with).

Anyway, I'm finding out that backing stuff up through AOL is not straight forward.

I need to make a backup of the address book, stored E-mails, and website favourites so they can be re-installed once things are back up and running.
The E-mails and address book in particular need to be kept.

Has anyone tried to back this up ? If so how is it done.
If only it was like most browsers / E-mail software, but No, it has to be fussy !

Thanks to anyone that can help me out.
:)

Are there any clues on the AOL sites themselves?

Just to let anyone know who is in the same situation, the following method worked to backup all AOL settings :tu: (E-mail, Favourites, etc):
