VOD Error Code UDS01
My VOD hasn't worked for a month. I haven't really bothered about it as I hardly use it , but I have missed a couple of things on the telly this week that would have I wanted to watch.
I get error code UDS01, service not available - phone customer services, which I eventually got round to doing today. After doing loads of checks they're sending an engineer on Tuesday. Does it mean I'll need a new box ? My Pace box otherwise works ok, but it is incredibly slow and the buttons on the remote have all but worn away (still says 'Cable and Wireless ' on it !) |
Re: VOD Error Code UDS01
Either the STB is faulty and is not connecting via the return path, or there is a problem with the return path either in your home or in the network.

Re: VOD Error Code UDS01
Well, engineer visited and said it would be sorted in 48 hours. It wasn't. Rang again and waited 3 days for a call back. At first I was hopeful as I seemed to get into the VOD screen, but now I'm getting error code SEAC 500. Worth calling them again ? Or should I just give up.....:(

Keep ringing everybody at Ntl and make yourself a damned great nuisance, it seems to be the only way to get anything done about an issue you have. Hopefully after a while they will get sick of you and deal with your issue. Of course hey might also feed your details into the automatic answering system and have you cut off as soon as you get through. :) Rest assured, you ain't missing anything. VOD's a waste of space anyway. 16:9 TV shows butchered to 4:3 even though they advertise it as WS. I wouldn't take a chance on ordering a WS movie only to find out it's been butchered to 4:3 Pan&Scan. |
