Annoying IVR
I just called up ntl to add some channels to my package only to hear the recorded message by the chirpy geordie that if there's something wrong with my broadband, I should call a different number. After going through all that (and repeating the number again) he cheerfully tells me that customer service closed 2 hours ago.
Now wouldn't it be better for the customer if this was mentioned at the start of the call rather than giving me irrelevant information first? |

It's worse when you are paying a premium rate for the call and they drone on and on and on and on before getting to the info you want...

lol faults are open on a sunday 10am till 4pm....poor guys/gals..but customer service is shut on a sunday

Little things like that make all the difference... I wonder why they don't do it? I am not being funny...
It would be interesting to know why these simple things aren't implemented. If there is a reasonable answer then fair enough.... |
