Recommend .flv Player?
 

I have downloaded a video from YouTube using the DownloadHelper extension in Mozilla Firefox. I need a player or codec to play the file? Any ideas?

This does a good job with most formats, including flv :)

Flash Player 8 plays .flv files :/

Yep, good ol' VLC will play just about any audio or video file without the need for codec downloads :tu:

I've tried but it doesn't play them, it just comes up blank..... :confused:

Another vote for MPC :D

I use that for everything nowadays (well everything except Quicktime .mov files).
