2.5" sata drive > dtop?
 
Just wanted to check are the the 2.5" drives fully compatable with desktops?

the connectors look the same as a 3.5" sata drive but i didn't want to try plugging it in just in case it was a different voltage or something.


Probably won't plug it in anyway might just get another USB caddy for it, either way if i remember i need something off it in the meantime i wandered if i could just plug it directly into the desktop. (its the orginal drive out of my macbook)

from what i remember
mac uses a differant file system then windows

so dont think windows can read the files off it

If i needed to read the mac partiton theres software about that can read it ;)

Although theres also an NTFS paritition on that disc as well as an MBR copy of the partition table thanks to bootcamp :disturbd:
