Adobe keeps crashing!
Hi all,
My laptop is giving me a few problems. I have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed, and it's fine if I open a document from Windows Explorer, Desktop etc. However... if I try to open a document from within an application eg Internet Explorer, it freezes, and eventuall crashed the "host" application eg Internet Explorer. I am not vry technical, so maybe there is some kind of setting I can change? The laptop has McAfee anti-virus software which also causes IE to crash if a link is clicked which opens a second window. This can be avoided by holding down the CTRL button, which then enables the second window to open; however this doesn't work if the new window is Adobe Acrobat. I hope this all makes sense, and that someone can help. Thanks in advance. |
Re: Adobe keeps crashing!
Easy thing to try... what happens if you un-install and re-install Acrobat?

Re: Adobe keeps crashing!
I've noticed that Firefox is rather buggy and slow when opening (or closing rather) PDFs. I'll give foxit a try. I'm Not a great fan of Acrobat.
