Good link. :tu:

I'm thinking of buying a 2GB Sandisk Cruzer™ Micro for £26.94 including postage, is that a good price?

[edit]

Can get it a few £ cheaper on Amazon so it's not such a good deal after all. :)

Just be careful with speed check both read AND write speeds... There are some cards that a notoriously slow it's best to get one thats at 150x even then I find them a bit slow especially when transferring at least 100meg regularly

are they no good for putting video files on then? i ask as i'm away on site a fair bit at the mo and hotel tv is crap at the best of times, so thought might use a few of these to put stuff on and watch on my pda

Sorry mate I was talking about the SDCard... I've bought a few in my time just by looking at the price and forgetting about the speed rating. I've had to stop using a 256Meg SD card and replaced it with an older 128Meg SD Card in my PDA simply due to the fact that transferring files took just too long.

Just a small pointer when buying SD Cards

you can get a generic flashdrive cheaper, the u3 capabity is quite neat on those cruisers though, ive used that to run trillan and firefox and putty from my uncles computer before (although i think you can get portable versions of most those apps that don't actually need the u3 launcher, but the launcher does a nice job of it)
