Belkin Router - Laptop works PC does not
 

I have a Belkin Router that is connected to my main PC and then to a laptop. It has been working fine for three months but then one day message came up on main PC saying new network detected, from then on I have no internet connection to main PC but can access it via laptop ?????? If I disconnect from router and put cable directly into main PC then access to that machine is restored! How bizarre - can anyone help :mad:

Can you give us some more info?

OS on each machine, wired or wireless router, model number?

Do you get an IP address on the main PC when you can't connect?

Tried a factory reset on the router? Any firewalls running on the PC?
