wlan speed
Guys,
I've seen a post before of some1 where the speed of the network wireless was only a 3rd compared to the full speed on lan. NTL 10 meg F5D7231 (router) F5D7001 (wlan card) speed wired is 1.1 mbps. speed wlan is 253 kbps. I have changed all the channels already and got a good signal on all of them, same results. quite a difference. and I've looked all over the last couple of months on the forum but cant find anymore what the trick was. Cheers. |
Re: wlan speed
I'm not sure what the problem is because both your router and wireless adaptor are capable of very high speeds.
Hopefully someone will come along and help soon. |
Re: wlan speed
is there any1 with a tiny bit of advice.
I know Paul has some knowledge with this kinda stuff so own up :P |
Re: wlan speed
If you're running wireless with encryption I think that causes a bit of a speed reduction, but nothing to that extent AFAIK...
