DVDR + cable TV problems
Hi
New to this and need some help! Recently purchased a Philips DVDR 3460 box to replace my aging VCR which is currently distributed around the house using a TV amplifier. Problem is that the only way I can get a picture out from the DVDR to the TV is by means of a scart cable to the TV and not thru the co-axial cable. This is a retrograde step for me as I can now only view DVDR recordings on my TV next to the DVDR (thru the scart) and not from the other TV's in the house. Anybody have any good ideas how I can distribute the signal around the house using the co-ax cable or am I stuffed? For info, I have the co-ax cable coming into the DVDR from the Telewest cable box. |
Re: DVDR + cable TV problems
Might seem a bit complex but If your DVDr has 2x scart you could run one to the old vcr and use that to distribute the channel by turning it onto the AV channel.
