Customer Service Phone Line - whinge.
Had a problem with our set top box last weekend - just before "Race of Champions" was about to start. It just displayed "Your Digital TV service will start shortly". Rebooting didn't make any difference. I thought I'd phone customer services to report a fault and get it sorted. They were shut. At 6pm on a Saturday.
What sort of customer service is that? Do the sales lines close at the same time? I'm sorry, but in this day and age I think we should be able to expect better than this! Oh, and my wife is now shouting at the box because it's frozen. Again. Is it worth phoning customer support - will they fix/replace the box or just tell me to keep rebooting it? Of course, by rebooting I mean contorting myself round the back of all the equipment and pulling out the power cable. It's all getting boring now and my wife is making "Would sky be better" comments. It's a shame because the NTL broadband service "just works" for us and 2Mb is fast enough for us. I don't fancy ADSL and having to connect each time. Oh well. |

Do you have a Pace box? I use to have a Pace box and it always froze so I rang customer services and they sent an engineer who replaced the box with a Samsung one. Never had a problem with it since :)

Re: Customer Service Phone Line - whinge.
If you have any problems with the box you need to ring and speak with Faults who can have a look into things for you, they are open on Sundays for future reference if you are still having difficulties

Re: Customer Service Phone Line - whinge.
Thanks for the replies. The box is a Samsung one. I'll call Customer Service and see what they suggest.
