Problems watching "ON-Demand" on my STB
 

Hi

I have a PACE 200 and when I try to watch anything under the Free weeklys (Option number 3) it plays but the picture quality is (Excuse my french *****!!!) always breaking up and cannot even watch a full minute before it breaks up again and this is the same thing with sound quality. It was working perfectly until about 3 weeks ago.

Any idea how I could get this sorted or anything I could try to get this fixed. My misses is getting moody cus she cant watch her eastenders when she wants too.

Ring faults, sounds like your signal level has dropped off or something.

not according to faults. I rung 151 and they told me its my pin number and that I should reset the password then reset the STB and try again (How a PIN number can affect the picture quality is beyond me but I will give it a try). If it does not work to phone them again. I tried reset my password but it would not accept my current password now its locked so I'm on the phone to them again.

and see what else could be the problem as well as unlocking my smart card.

You have to love them he he .As zeph said it sounds like a signal problem or the tuner in the set top box is faulty sounds like you need a tech theres nothing you can do or faults should know this :mad:

well now my PIN does not even work even when they reset it. Now I have to wait for them to phone me within 48 hours time to sort out my PIN as well as my original problem.

Tell them you want a tech out i see this on job sheets all day i get no info about the job but they can put on cust req tech for silly faults:mad: You do need a tech for this fault there nothing they can do

suprize suprize!!!! still no phone call from them guess I have to chase them to get this sorted.
