Flashing LED on Samsung Box - RG6 area
 

Hi,

Since last night, I have had a flashing LED on the Sasmung Cable box, but the TV seems to be working ok.

The broadband was down too but now seems ok. Also, the on demand shows an error when I try to use it.

Has anyone got any ideas if this is a network problem or something I will have to call NTL about?

Normally means some form of problem with the data feed to the box. When the LED flashes it can mean that the box is unable to synch/ lock onto it's feed properly. Usually though the BB fails when the light is flashing.

When the light went off you say your bb went off as well .it means the reverse on a samung is not there and the box will not have a ip address so you can not view vod .If the bb is back up turn the box off for a while and try it again i know one of samsungs can take a while to obtain a ip :)

Ned, I tried rebooting the Samsung box and now the light is as steady green. Many thanks for this, seems to have solved the problem. :)
