Old Pace Box Sloooow
 

Hi I've got one of the old Pace boxes and it's being used for both TV and Internet. It's never been the fastest for channel guides and using interactive stuff fails more often than not. Also I find it needs regular reseting for the internet whenever I'm uploading photos etc, it will often lock up the TV as well which get's me in trouble with the wife :mad:

Does anyone know if there is a plan to roll out new boxes. Especially now they've updated all the menus etc it's now horribly slow to navigate, and I find often the info of what's on a channel gets stuck on the one I was on originally.

Are the Samsung boxes better? Is anything better, Sky boxes seem much slicker but then I guess most of the boxes I've used are newer.

What would I need to do to get a newer box which will solve all my woes? and for the internet would getting a seperate modem help me to upload my holiday snaps without having to babysit the box.

My Pace box acts the same way, sometimes it'll ignore commands from the remote for a good few minutes.:(
