Re: Slow Browsing, crap speeds

Some NTL staff might say this is due to faulty equipment, i suggest its excessive traffic on the equipment and you should talk to support, and ask for line 2 support, and then book an engineer....

Get them out to look at your perfectly fine cabling and - sooner or later if enough people do this they will have to take note, they will be forced to accept that their network isnt coping and maybe fix the proxy/cache servers.

just my 2p mate :)

Re: Slow Browsing, crap speeds

This started sunday and co incidentally that was when the latest batch of upgrades started, before that the only problem was the proxies which in turn started when the last upgrades happened, in fact the only time i get a problem is after upgrades affecting this area, usually all works great.
Just waiting for tonights upgrade now to see if the terayon craps out tomorrow.
For the past few days speed drops to a quarter of usual anytime between 3pm and 8pm and can change back and forth numerous times.
