TV Box dead engineer out 16th
Is this good enough?
I have no TV whatsoever and when the obnoxious :Yikes: on the end of the phone smugly told me I have to wait til next thursday for an engineer I was obviously not amused so asked to speak to a supervisor to which he promptly put the phone down on me. Help... |
Re: TV Box dead engineer out 16th
Call back and tell them you wish to speak to a supervisor, if they refuse ask to be put through to retentions as you wish to cancel your contract due to the appalling level of support.

Re: TV Box dead engineer out 16th
Doing it right this second. Thanks.

Re: TV Box dead engineer out 16th
Appalling :erm:
Any joy? Get through to retentions, I feel you will have an engineer around quicker than that, knowing how they are in cs, some of them, they will blame the hang up on something else. |
Re: TV Box dead engineer out 16th
And ask them to send a live engineer, You might get more done. |
Re: TV Box dead engineer out 16th
Ok got nowhere at all so cancelled the lot from 30 days time on the basis of breach of contract and not providing the service.
Sky booked and coming to install monday ....good riddance to NTL with such poor customer service and appauling repair times they don't deserve over £120 of my hard earned cash a month. Thanks for your replies. |
Re: TV Box dead engineer out 16th
Thats terrible. Hope someone high up in NTL gets to read this.

I've been trying to get a problem sorted out since February. I can't begin to explain what I've been through with time spent on the phone and wasted days off for technician/re-pull crew/digging crew visits. I would link you to my thread on it but I've been asked not to. Anyway, I'm on my way to Sky soon as well; The day after ntl fix the problem! (They think their disgusting customer service will make me go away, but I never give up). ;) |

That is the only thing customers have left now whoever they are with, the vote with the feet! Sadly when a company makes mass redundancies and replaces with agency staff there is little hope left when things go wrong. But as you say, they do not deserve over £120 per month, and by the look of it you gave them the chance to sort it, they obviously were not listening. Good luck :) Post back and let us know how things go. |
