Youtube problem
 
I hope this is in the right forum, and least of all makes sense...

Why is it that sometimes, videos just play, and other times, all I get is the black 'loading' screen for ages and ages and ages??? Really annoying... :mad:

some will be avi others will be mpeg etc, some need to be downloaded before you play them like Quick time :)

Youtube uses it's own flash based player..

I think its just the loading or how busy the server is? you tube videos are all in flash i think.

I've heard that most videos load quickly but pron is slow :D

I get the ame thing OB, but only on YouTube, never on google video or other video enabled websites, it's saddening as well as more people favour YouTube.

The files are hosted on different servers within youtube. Depending on which server the file is on, the file might take longer to load.
