Is the Netgear FVS 318 supported?
 

I wish to setup a VPN tunnel with a user on a different type of connection. They are using a FVS318 Firewall/ Router from Netgear. This device will enable me to create a secure VPN between the two devices but I wanted to make sure that this router will be able to work with the NTL service.
Please reply or show me where I may find this information.

What do you mean 'compatible with this service... All openly available routers will work with all services - the only thing you may need to know is whether it needs to use PPoE, PPoA or some very specific settings like VCMUX etc... but tbh NTL will use most common settings... U may have to sit and try play around with it but in my experience almost all routers will work.

OH and make sure if your buying a CABLE SERVICE to buy a CABLE MODEM/ROUTER...
