How to get IE as default browser from Firefox

I'm getting fed up with this.I need to do an action that requires using IE but Firefox keeps coming up when I click on the link because it is set as default browser.

Why the fecking hell they both have to argue with each other to be the default browser is really beginning to pee me off. Why can't they just live together peacefully on the same PC beats the hell out of me.

Re: How to get IE as default browser from Firefox

Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Internet Settings -> Programs -> Set "check if IE is your default browser".

Launch IE, and select OK.

Incog - get the IE tab extension for Firefox - it installs a wee icon in the bottom right corner of your window - you click it and it opens the current web page within IE WITHIN your firefox window...

Its a cracking little app just for stuff like this...

http://ietab.mozdev.org/

For example if i click the icon now - the window refreshes and loads using the IE engine, but still within Firefox...

See the attachments for more of my photoshop skillz and a visual explanation..
