Linux and your PDA
Ladies and Gents,
Anyone successfully syncing their PDA with linux with the likes of synce, kdesyn, opensync, multisync etc etc. My current distro is kubuntu 6.10 edgy. I desperately need to kiss windoze goodbye as my PIM data is still on there grrrrrr. I did try using kdesync and could connect to my iPaq and do all the major functions except PIM : I haven't tried again since the weekend. Many many thanks in advance |
Re: Linux and your PDA
Sorry, mate... as I don't own a PDA this is something that I've never tried nor even thought about trying.

lol, yeah... although at least it bumped the thread back up to the top, so maybe it'll get viewed by someone who knows what they're on about, as opposed to lil ol' me :D

The familiar project might be my best optionas it's been in dev since 2000 and is very mature now... One of the reasons why I bought a first gen ipaq all the years ago. You've given me an idea though I can load up familiar on my old pda and see how I get on :) -edit barred idea as then I wont be able to use tomtom and then I'd really be lost ! |
