Altering Images

I have a picture of my GF and i want to replace her pink lippy with red lippy. How can i do this?

I use Paintshop pro and Photoshop, Also have Xara.

I dont want to do it pixel by pixel, is there an easy way? Select everything Pink and replace it with red?

There are many ways you could do it. You use magic wand but that will not reflect the texture of the lips, your best bet is to use the colour replace tool.

A way you could do it in Photoshop, is to carefully select the area you want to change using the lasso tool. Then go to the "Image" menu, then "Adjustments", then select "Color Balance". Then you can move the Cyan/Red slider further towards red.

Be aware that you will have "Midtones" selected by default, and you may also need to adjust the "Shadows" and "Highlights" by selected these options. Experiement to get the best result.
